Traveled with family, Jul 23, 2025 The grounds are beautifully kept, and the whole place has a positive, peaceful feel from the moment you arrive. The owner and staff made a real effort to make us feel welcome, and their warmth carried through every part of the property. Staff were on hand for questions and helped make our stay comfortable. The owner clearly knows hospitality. If you're looking for a welcoming place to stay around Azambuja, I'd recommend giving this one a try.

We had a lovely breakfast, with fresh croissants, several cheeses and cured meats, yogurt, and different breads. The rooms were cozy and well equipped, with bathtubs and hot water, and everything seemed thoughtfully prepared. Casa do Alfaro is a peaceful retreat in Azambuja, surrounded by nature. It was easy to relax there. A special thanks to Maria and the kind lady whose name I unfortunately can't remember. They made us feel very welcome and well looked after. I'd gladly return for another quiet, charming getaway.

Casa do Alfaro felt cozy and sweet, with lovely decor inside and a beautiful landscape and views outside. The staff were friendly, and we were warmly welcomed with a homemade breakfast. A charming hotel and a perfect stay if you want to relax and enjoy the view. It had everything I could ask for away from home.

Rosalinho, the caretaker, was fabulous. We were on half board, and she cooked dinner and did all she could to make the stay pleasant. The house is nicely decorated inside and out, and the countryside around it was so quiet. I loved this family-run, ranch-style place and would like to come back for a longer stay someday.
