The setting is beautiful, calm, and well organized, and the swimming pool is especially good. Still, I had mixed feelings because getting to the place is so difficult, and there are no meals served. That was a problem for us.

We wanted a few quiet days to rest, and this quinta was just right. The garden is full of color, flowers, and fruit trees, and the pool is beautiful with lovely water. Our Studio de Baixo was small but fully equipped for two, with a private table outdoors, which I really liked. We spent most of our time outside anyway. The dogs, Taxi and Praça, were a delight. Praça came in to hang out and relax in the studio every day, which we didn't mind at all as dog lovers. Jose was really friendly too. It's a stunning place to unwind, and we'd definitely come back.

The owner and his assistant were delightful, and all five of us loved the port tasting. We even thought it was worth carrying bottles home in our luggage.

This is a place you really should stay if you're in the region. It's quiet and peaceful, with lovely grounds, a pool, and a faithful companion who wanders all over the quinta and is adorable company. Having a garage for the car was very useful too. Sr José was kind and always available, which added a lot to an unforgettable stay. Everything was fantastic.
