The owner was really friendly and helpful, and having two separate bathrooms made mornings much easier. It’s a renovated country apartment with a cozy feel and modern touches, and it has the basics plus a little more. Two beds are up in a small loft, though the stairs could be sturdier. A handy base for exploring southern Portugal.

The house has been restored with its original features kept intact, and it feels very much of the Alentejo region. A superb spot and a must-see if you're staying nearby.
