Filipe knows a lot about the area and its history, and the staff are friendly and very service minded. The rooms feel spacious and calming, with tasteful furniture. It’s a beautiful spot among farmland, with lovely views, plants, flowers, and animals. We’ll come back.

We were upgraded to a lovely suite, and the property is a beautiful place with helpful staff. It would be great for a quiet break in the countryside, and it has excellent facilities for functions like weddings. We were disappointed that dinner wasn't available, since the restaurant was advertised and mentioned in reviews on some websites.

The staff were pleasant, and breakfast was amazing. Our bedroom and bathroom were both huge, with really beautiful traditional furniture, and the swimming pool had a marvelous view across the lake. The pool water could be a little clearer, though, perhaps there was too much chlorine.

We stayed with our 3-month-old baby, and they provided a crib and a warm room for winter. The place was clean throughout, the staff polite, and the atmosphere relaxed. A perfect place to rest, even with a baby.

We found this place on a road trip and it was brilliant value for money. The hosts and staff were all amazing, and breakfast was delicious. 😋
