Vila Gale NEP Kids Hotel

The kids really loved it, and we enjoyed our stay enough that we'd probably come back. Room service could be a little quicker. Lunch starts at 12:30, but I'd wait until 12:40 to go, since they only start frying the fries and putting pizzas in the oven at 12:30. Not a big deal. The snake and bird slides might need a rethink because the water seems a bit shallow. An ATM on site would be handy: there's one nearby, but you have to leave the property, and having one here might also mean more spending on the arcade machines. There's supposedly a gym at the other hotel you pass first, though I didn't check. A gym here would be great.

The facilities are great for kids, and the animation staff were incredible. The room was spacious and reasonably comfortable, though the mattresses were only okay. What really let us down was the kitchen service. They couldn't make a simple hot dog, and the chef seemed short on experience and knowledge. Around the kids' pool and playground, most of the ground is hard plastic paving, with no grass yet. It's painful to walk on, and there aren't enough sunshades. The kitchen was the main disappointment.

The activities kept us happily occupied, and our family really enjoyed staying at Nep Kids. The rooms were excellent. We'd strongly recommend it.

A great spot for children, although the activities run on tight schedules and that creates long queues. It'd be better if places like the toy room and karts stayed open all day.
