Casa Das Arribas

The best part of our four-night stay at Casa das Arribas was its location and the view from the apartment. That view helped make up for a lot, especially at 400€ a night, which felt hugely overpriced. The welcome was cold, service was lacking, and Anna, the owner, was difficult to reach after briefly showing us the room and hurrying off. Breakfast was repetitive, and requests for something extra, whether at breakfast or otherwise, were brushed aside. One night we couldn't find our key after dinner. It took 30 minutes of trying to call Anna before we got an irritated response, and she wasn't helpful or cooperative. The Ocean Saloon room was also poorly soundproofed. A few days after we left, the invoice charged us for two daily cleans. Nobody had cleaned the apartment during our four days, which would have been fine, but those charges were wrong. We told Anna about the error several times and still haven't had a reply. Reading other reviews, it seems we weren't the only guests disappointed by the welcome, service, or her behaviour. We wouldn't recommend staying here. There's more appearance than substance.
