The owner was generous and very friendly, and shared lots of useful information. The kitchen has even better equipment than mine at home ☺️, and the bedrooms and bathrooms are in perfect condition. What an incredible place to stay! I'm sure we'll come back to Rio de onor and stay at Casa de Portela again.

The place itself is beautiful, but the owners think 19 degrees is warm enough to switch off the central heating. That left us cold. When I said I couldn't sleep with the AC running, the reply was, "Then don't turn it on." Rude. I wouldn't stay again. There are other places to stay in Rio de Onor.

They welcomed us with the fridge stocked with homemade jam and bread, as well as organic fruit, and the service was excellent. The house is beautiful and right by the river. Downstairs there's a small patio, a lovely bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, and a very spacious living room. Upstairs are three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. I'd definitely love to return.
