Dinner at the restaurant was excellent, especially the home-cooked fish, and the menu's English translation was very useful. The breakfast was basic but did the job: fresh, delicious bread rolls, though they served orange squash instead of orange juice. We were comfortable and felt welcome on this stop near the Portugal-Spain border. Bragança centre was close by. There's a private car park about 50 metres away that's locked at night, plus limited street parking with a coin meter. The woman who checked us in and took me to the car park couldn't speak English, and we couldn't speak Portuguese, but she was friendly and welcoming. Paying for our room by card was fine, but they were so insistent about cash for dinner that it came across as rude. The bill was 50 euros, and we simply didn't have that much cash on hand. Awkward!

Handy place to stop for the night, close to town, with secure parking nearby.

Senhor Manuel went out of his way to welcome us when we got into Bragança a bit late, and his friendly, hospitable manner made a difference. The rooms are somewhat old-fashioned, but I think the stay is good value. The bathroom is quite spacious, and we enjoyed a very rich breakfast. I'd definitely like to stay here again if I return to Bragança.

A quirky, fun place, and we loved our stay. Parking was free and supposedly secure, though not all that secure! We had dinner there as well, and breakfast was very generous. It's not flashy, but the price isn't either. Book with confidence.

They made us feel very welcome. The staff were attentive, the bathroom was nice, and the rooms were a little small. The property has air conditioning.
