We only got to stay one night and really wished we could have booked another. The house is gorgeous, spread over two floors with lots of space, and it’s decorated beautifully and equipped with everything you might need. We were just two, so we used one of the two bedrooms. The bed was super comfortable, and both the bath and shower had very hot water. There’s a washer-dryer too, which came in handy while traveling. The balcony and outdoor area were lovely for breakfast or dinner, with the village’s calm atmosphere around us. It’s also well placed for exploring the area, about a 25-minute drive from Bragança. I could say more, but this is definitely a place worth staying at for more than a night.

The small village was welcoming, especially the neighbours at the little bar. The house is in Montesinho Natural Park, a beautiful spot for walks or simply taking it easy. Inside, it has everything you need, and we especially liked the patio furniture outside. The shower was great and the beds were comfortable. We’ll definitely come back. Plan ahead for groceries: the nearest supermarket is in Bragança, about a 25-minute drive away.

The house is wonderful and the location is beautiful, and the hostess is lovely. But when we arrived in mid-December, the heating wasn’t on and the house was freezing. We were traveling with three children, including a four-month-old, and even with the fireplace and radiators it was only 15°C (59°F). They should take this into account in winter and have the house warm when guests arrive. Everything else was great, but this matters, especially for families with young children.

A great atmosphere for relaxing and having fun with friends. The house is really well equipped, so there’s nothing to worry about. We had an excellent stay.

It has everything you need for a good stay. Even when it’s very hot outside, the house stays cool. It’s very well located in Parque Natural de Montesinho.
