The pool and open barbecue made it easy to spend many of our lovely days in Madeira at the house. We stayed at Casa das Orqideas for nearly four weeks and had everything we needed. The house sits on a hillside with wonderful views across the Atlantic, and it’s beautifully furnished and fully equipped. The owner was friendly and easy to reach, and promptly helped whenever we had a question or needed fresh linens. We loved our time there and the personal contact with her, and we’d happily stay again.

Stunning sea views and a wonderful location, with top quality facilities and every convenience. The welcome and service were excellent, and there’s a barbecue and pool too. It really feels like paradise is right there.
