We were six, and the owner made us feel well cared for. The house has a lot of character, and its spot made it easy to head anywhere on the island. A really distinctive place to stay.

The host was such a lovely person, and the place itself was clean, spacious, and in a good location. I can't recommend it enough. I'll book here again when I come back to madeira!

Sr Gilberto welcomed us so warmly, and we felt comfortable all around the house. The sea view is fantastic, and the place is spectacular. Every room has thoughtful decor and little details. Thank you for having us these days, Sr Gilberto. We'll be back again!

The accommodation is clean and well cared for, with three floors to spread out over. We enjoyed the pool and a barbecue. The only drawback for me was that it's right by the road, so I took off a star.
