Breakfast was amazing, and the food at the Valentine’s dinner was delicious. We stayed in a very clean bungalow with comfortable beds. They cleaned the room each day, changed the beds, and always left us enough towels. Salvador greeted us at the door with a very pleasant welcome. We were there February 9 to the 18th, and whenever we visit Sao Miguel, we’ll definitely stay here again. We have nothing bad to say and gave the place five stars for everything. Thank you for everything, Francisco Medeiros & Gabriela Brightman.

The grounds are beautiful, there’s a large parking lot, and breakfast was great. I came during the off-season, so the value for money was unbelievable. The location is great, and the staff were kind. I’ll definitely stay again.

Avoid this place. We noticed within two hours of booking, months before the stay, that our reservation was for the wrong day. They said changing it would be no problem, and I got an email confirming the change. But when we arrived, they said they had no reservation and insisted we were supposed to have come the day before. I showed them their confirmation email, but we still had no room and they refused to refund us.

The garden is still a work in progress, but the far reaches are worth exploring for all the fascinating specimens. The hotel has a real sense of history alongside modern comfort. We were warmly welcomed by friendly, helpful staff, and breakfast was excellent, with traditional dishes on a set menu that changes daily.

Everything was very clean, the staff were so nice, and breakfast was great. This is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Thank you!
