Byseacle - Lisbon Bike Surf Camp

I had a really enjoyable stay at Lisbon Surf Hostel. It’s in a handy spot, about five minutes from Carcavelos beach and a five-minute walk to the train station. Comfort is decent, and there are great facilities for cooking, socializing, and relaxing. The pool, barbecue, hammocks, and spacious dining areas make it easy to hang out with other guests. I fully recommend it.

Everyone staying here seemed to be here for surfing, and the place and people were amazing. I signed up for the 3 day school and was glad I did. Diogo and Lucas were great, and the instructors were friendly and put real time and effort into teaching. The rooms were spacious, honestly the best hostel rooms I stayed in on my trip, and breakfast was really good too. There isn’t a lot to do nearby, but after a day of surfing we didn’t have much energy left anyway.

The beach is gorgeous and just a quick, easy walk away. Staff were friendly, and getting the train into Lisbon was quick and easy too.

Lovely staff and a great hostel, everyone was super helpful :) We only stayed a couple of nights and already had our own gear and knew how to surf, so I can’t speak to their surf packages. The people staying at the hostel who were on camp all seemed to be loving it, though. Nights could be noisy, which made sleeping difficult. There’s no air con in the dorms, so you need to sleep with the window open and may end up bitten by mosquitoes 😂 Bring bug spray!
