We were upgraded to a bigger apartment, which gave our family plenty of room and was great for our child. It was very clean, the kitchen had what we needed, and we loved the garden. Breakfast was fabulous, too. The staff were so friendly, and they took time to joke and chat with our son. That made our seven-night stay feel extra special, and we’d happily return. A few signs of age showed in places, like peeling paint and a slightly worn sauna. The jacuzzi was out of order because of its age, though it was being removed while we were there and will probably be replaced soon. It wasn’t enough to bring our rating down to four stars. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

The nearby town of Carvoeiro was wonderful, and the grounds at the hotel were beautiful. Our room was quiet, comfortable, spacious and clean. The staff were lovely and helpful, with good ideas for things to do and places to eat nearby, including options that worked with our gluten-free requirements. We had a great stay, thank you!

The gardens are lovely and the pool is nice, but the food was a real letdown. I was staying in the Algarve and treated myself to a five-star hotel day pass for 20 euros, which included a towel for the gym and pool. At the pool bar, I ordered a drink and some food, excited to eat at a five-star place. What arrived was cold pasta with watery tomato sauce, basically poured over cheap spaghetti. It was awful. I’d planned to order more, but after that I was glad I hadn’t chosen anything more expensive.

The apartments are roomy, comfortable and well equipped, which worked really well for our family. There’s plenty to do, and the indoor pool is especially useful in colder months. The grounds are beautifully kept and give the resort a peaceful feel. Breakfast was a highlight, with tasty food and enough variety during the stay. The staff were genuinely friendly, attentive and ready to help. A lovely place to unwind and spend time together as a family. Highly recommended.
