Coimbra Vintage Lofts

It’s a nice loft-style rental in a great spot, with a local bakery next door and a market nearby. Good food at good prices was easy to find. The only small drawbacks were the traffic noise and sound from neighbors through the thin walls.

The apartment itself was fine, but Hotel Oslo’s handling of our booking felt deceptive. Priceline.com recorded two adults but left out our kids by mistake. As we were finishing check-in, the hotel manager noticed and charged an extra 25 eur per night, per kid. The children are elementary school-aged and used existing beds; the listing said the room sleeps four, and we had no breakfast or other extras that would add costs. Afterward I checked Priceline again. Searching for four people showed no price difference, and a second test booking repeated the same error. The reservation welcomed kids of all ages and said nothing about extra charges. Priceline acknowledged its mistake but didn’t help resolve it. I wouldn’t recommend taking a chance here.

The apartment is thoughtfully designed and well equipped, right in the center near good restaurants and the Coimbra sights you might want to see. The staff were welcoming and helpful. I’d recommend it.

We got really good service during our two-day stay. The apartments are a useful base for exploring and eating in the middle of old Combria. The setup worked for us, though it’s a bit old and short on shelving.
