The shared kitchen was clean and well equipped, with fruit, coffee, and tea available for free. I was also upgraded, and although the hotel had no parking left because I booked at the last minute, they paid for my parking outside, even though that was my responsibility. The staff were so friendly, the place was spotless, breakfast was plentiful, and the mattress, pillows, and sheets were comfortable with no odd textures. It was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. I’d even change my itinerary to stay here again before leaving Portugal.

The kitchen was chaotic during our short visit, and I saw a staff member frying chicken in conditions that didn’t seem hygienic. We left after five minutes, but were still charged for the first night. The manager has not replied, despite promising several times to refund us. We booked through Booking.com, and the basement room we were given had no proper windows and felt more like storage than a hotel room. With two small children, it was a nightmare. The bathroom looked like a public airport toilet or a neglected pool changing room, nothing like the online photos, which seem to show upper-floor rooms. What we found did not match the website or the reviews. This did not feel like a proper hotel, more like a low-grade hostel, and nowhere near the 3-star rating shown on Booking.com. The cheap price makes sense now. Avoid it, especially if you're travelling with family. It should be reported and the listing removed from Booking.com. The manager's failure to refund us felt like fraud.

We found this place at a good price for a last-minute night in Cascais. The host was warm and friendly, explained the amenities, and showed us to our room. The shared spaces felt inviting. The pool is small, though there’s plenty of room on the deck to catch some sun. Great place and service.

The staff were so kind and did everything they could to make my mum feel welcome. Art4You Cascais Suites is a real find, with a brilliant location and wonderful hosts. For me, it’s the best hostel in all of Cascais. I’d highly recommend it.
