Couto dos Pardinhos

We wished we could have stayed longer. The place feels magical, and the family running it is so loving, kind, and attentive. Everything was spotless, and the room was really comfortable. The property is beautifully decorated with family pieces, pottery, and artifacts from over four generations. I loved how they’ve recycled and repurposed things. Isabel did all the decorating, and she’s a genius at making reused objects look beautiful. Joana and her aunt Isabel are both special people. Joana’s love for the horses, cows, dogs, and all their animals is obvious. We spent a full day touring the farm, which I highly recommend. Joana taught us so much about the trees and animals. Breakfast was delicious, fresh, varied, and made with organic products, most of them from the farm. We can’t wait to come back and stay longer. Thank you, Isabel and Joana.

A wonderful place for a relaxing week in Portugal, and an amazing spot to learn how to ride a horse.

We had an incredible stay at Couto dos Pradinhos. The hosts welcomed us with warm smiles and really wanted us to feel at home. Our room was cozy and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious, with local products. It’s a lovely place to spend time in nature with family. We’d do it again, and highly recommend this unique, memorable experience to anyone wanting to get away from the city and enjoy quality family time in a welcoming, picturesque setting.

The breakfast was wonderful, and the pool was great. There are lots of places to explore around the estate, including restaurants and villages, so I recommend it. The house is beautiful and nicely decorated, and the bathroom was fantastic. Our room was comfortable and pleasant, with air conditioning and a TV. The owners were super friendly and attentive. The property is tucked away in nature, very peaceful, with no noise except the birds.
