The location works well, near the beach and the main road, though far enough away that you don’t hear traffic all the time. There’s also a little bakery on the corner with freshly baked treats. The apartment is dated, and yes, the boiler is tiny at 50l. Still, it’s cheap, and how much time do you spend inside anyway?

Altura is quieter than Albufeira, so these apartments feel like a peaceful place to stay. They’re near the beach, have a pool and BBQ set, and the apartments are good enough since they’re mostly for sleeping. For fresh fish, look up the restaurant Dois Irmãos.

A calm, family hotel where we had a really great stay. The rooms are basic, but very clean. Highly recommended!

The apartments were clean and nice, close to the sea, and had a big, beautiful pool. The staff were very friendly too.

Practical, friendly, and in a great location. The lack of wireless in the apartments is a real downside, though.
