We spent two nights at the Convento and fell in love with the place. It’s such a relaxing spot. JP is always around if you need help with something, or just feel like having a chat. Breakfast was lovely, served in the rooms of the old convento.

Set in a former convent, this inn is full of history and eclectic art, with views across the lovely Chamuscan landscape and its iconic bridge. The hosts are incredibly generous. It’s a magical, one-of-a-kind place, and I’m already planning to return.

The food and service are excellent, and I’d happily recommend this beautiful place to friends. It has an amazing view of the river and Chamusca Bridge, in a lovely setting. Huge thanks to Vanda and JP. I can’t wait to come back soon.

A beautiful, inspiring bed and breakfast in a lovely location. The food was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It made a perfect base for visiting Portugal.

One of a kind. This is easily among the top three historical places I’ve stayed in during my life. I miss it already.
