The owner was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and nice in a shared flat, and the bathroom was fairly basic, shared with guests in the other one or two rooms. The neighborhood is calm and charming, with a lovely view of Coimbra's old center. Cafes, supermarkets, restaurants and laundry shops are nearby.

The house is small but more than enough for a good stay, and it's close to historical places and the city center. The rooms were lovely, cozy, clean and nicely furnished, with comfortable bedding. We booked a room with a double bed, but they kindly let us stay in the suite instead. The bathroom and kitchen are shared, and the service was good.

6/10
Quiet and simple, with decent bedding and easy parking. It was one room in an apartment up in the hills above Coimbra, a bit out of the way, and the bathroom was shared with the other apartment occupants. Adequate for the price.
