The spa and massage services were great, while the pool itself was ordinary. Compared with similar hotels, the price is far too high for what's offered. We'd told them we needed to check out at 8 am. They said we couldn't have the regular breakfast half an hour early and might not even get coffee. The only option was a takeaway breakfast: plain bread with cheese and ham, one juice, one yogurt and a piece of fruit. We ate it beside the breakfast area and even had to ask for basic cutlery. I expected at least to be allowed to eat in the regular area, with the food available 30 minutes before the usual time. There was no coffee machine or tea in the room. Tea was available at reception for €2 in a paper cup.

The hotel was clean and the price was good. We had great breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the swimming pool was great too, though the aqua fitness instructor was boring. Our room was noisy, and we could hear everything happening next door. The shower didn't work properly, so I had to ask for it to be fixed. The shampoo container had a problem as well, and the pillows weren't comfortable.

We went in February hoping to see snow in the mountains, and would definitely recommend the Puralã - Wool Valley Hotel & SPA and stay again. It's at the entrance to town, with a Domino’s across the road. You'll need to drive to get to the town centre. Check-in was excellent. Our room was ready much earlier than expected, and the agent was friendly and helpful. We were in room 217, a suite with a king bed in the main room and two single beds in the living area. Robes for all of us came in handy on pool and spa days. The indoor pool is huge and very warm, and we didn't need to book a slot. We used the hot tub once and loved it, though people stay there for a long time, so it can be hard to get a turn. I also enjoyed the hammam. A woman was sleeping across the whole sauna bench, so we couldn't use the sauna. These facilities are for guests over 16. The bathroom, shower and lockers were great too. A guide named Jose, referred by the hotel, took us up the mountain, where we got to spend time in the snow. Breakfast had lots of options, though there was no egg station. There's also a kids' area with play stations and an iPad.

Everything else was excellent. The room was very hot, and I couldn't get the AC to turn on. Luckily there was a window I could open, and it was very cold outside.

The jacuzzi could have been hotter, and breakfast quality could be better. Still, I had a very enjoyable stay with good facilities and service. The pools were clean and relaxing, and the massage was professional and calming. Puralã has a stylish, comfortable feel, with warm modern design. The bar and restaurant spaces were welcoming, and the bar service was excellent.
