The hosts, Oswaldo and Manuella, put so much care and energy into making this quinta feel welcoming. They were generous with their time, and every detail seemed to have their attention. Our room was really a roomy, nicely furnished apartment, and the vegan breakfast I asked for was an imaginative, beautifully prepared spread. We liked it so much that we added a night, which gave us time to see the cork forests and the mysterious dolmen at Anta do Tapadão near Crato. Both were highlights of our time in Portugal. This place felt like a special hideaway, and we’ll remember their kind hospitality for a long time.

We’ve stayed here twice, and we’ll certainly come back to visit our friends Osvaldo and Manuela. Thank you both so much! It’s among the top three home tourism stays we’ve had, and easily the best value for money. The house is comfortable and welcoming, restored to a very high standard with wonderful taste. Breakfast was very good, with lots of delicious little touches. Osvaldo and Manuela are incredibly warm and devoted hosts who made our stay feel unforgettable.

The hosts, Manuela and Osvaldo, were wonderful. It’s a beautiful house, and I’d happily recommend it. Our room had high ceilings, plenty of light, stately furnishings, and lovely decor. The shared spaces were roomy and comfortable, especially the striking fireplace. Outside, the garden was spectacular. Breakfast was hard to beat, with tasty jams, cakes, meat pie, and fruit.

The hosts made us feel like old friends right away, with such a warm welcome. The house has been renovated beautifully, with good bedrooms and comfortable shared spaces. The food was very good, and the prices felt fair.
