I’ve come back twice, and I already know I won’t stay anywhere else in Ericeira. The hostel feels calm and homey, but what really makes it is Maria. From the minute I arrived, she was an incredibly kind host and person. Go to 70s hostel, you’ll have a great time and want to return too. OBRIGADA 🌈❤️

I ended up extending my stay and staying much longer than I’d planned. It’s a small place, so people naturally spend time together and get to know each other quickly. Maria, the owner, is lovely and makes the house feel so welcoming. The common spaces and bathrooms were among the cleanest I’ve seen at a hostel, and really well looked after. You’re close to everything you need, with a great ocean sunset spot just a two-minute walk away. I’ll always recommend 70s to anyone heading to Ericeira. Thanks, Maria!

Right in the heart of town, the hostel is handy for beaches, bars, restaurants, and shops. I found the atmosphere warm and felt at home there. Maria has put her own personality into the colorful decor, giving the place a distinctive, home-like feel. The rooms were cozy and clean, the beds comfortable, and the shared spaces were kept in good shape and made it easy to meet other guests. I had a fantastic stay and would happily come back. It’s comfortable and affordable, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Ericeira.

The owner is so kind and nearby if you need her. The rooms are nicely decorated, and it’s a perfect spot in town.
