Villa Oliandra was quiet and peaceful, about a ten-minute drive from Vilamoura Marina and the beaches. We had an amazing time with friends during our September stay. The villa is spacious and spotless, and the oranges you can pick from the citrus grove tasted like nothing we’d had before. The sunsets were something to behold, with the sun rising on the front terrace and setting at the rear. I foolishly left uncovered food in the kitchen overnight and found an ant trail in the morning. I called the owner’s emergency maintenance number, and someone arrived in under fifteen minutes and sorted it out quickly and completely with eco-friendly ant remover. I’m hoping to return to the Algarve in 2022 and will definitely stay here again.

I have to leave a negative review because there was a hidden camera inside the house, pointed toward the corridor and bathroom door. That is completely unacceptable. There were also cameras outside, built into light sensors, which I could accept, but I can’t accept cameras indoors while I’m walking around naked or in my underwear. There were also loads of ants inside the house, as shown in the photos. The owner had already charged €300 for cleaning, yet expected us to clean the house and take the rubbish to the public collection area in town. That was very unprofessional.

A great villa with all the facilities we needed for a long weekend. The host was always available when we had questions. Getting there from the airport was super easy, and access to Vilamoura and the surrounding golf was very straightforward, with taxis available.

The villa was spacious and clean, and the pool was beautiful. It’s in a remote but very private spot, just as we’d asked for. Villa Oliandra exceeded our expectations. We’ll be back.

Lovely place for a family, close to everything, with a beautiful view and swimming pool. The host, Tony, is very kind.
