Burgos Guest House

For the price, it was decent and the location was good. The room was clean enough, though nothing impressive, and there weren't many amenities or extras. It was basically just a room. We woke up to mice running around at night. It was winter in an old building, so it wasn't shocking. If you expect a lot, you might want to look elsewhere.

The staff were great and the hospitality was warm. There was fruit, biscuits and tea available for free, and our simple room had everything we needed. The guest house is in central Évora, spread over several floors, with rooms that have private bathrooms. It's a little old, though well kept. The main drawback was how much noise there was in the shared areas at night.

The room was clean and had everything a visitor needs, and the staff who welcomed us were kind and made sure we had what we needed. We were very happy with the service and the room overall. One downside: if you don't speak Portuguese, you may miss important information they're trying to share.

The guy who checked me in was so friendly that he moved me to a bigger room just to be kind. The house is about 200 years old, with remodeled installations that balance the classic and modern nicely. The shower was huge and comfortable. It's a low-cost stay, and I'd highly recommend it. I'll be back as soon as I'm in town again.
