Cenoura-Brava Villas & Suites.

Gourmet food.

We came away feeling well looked after and relaxed, with our requests taken seriously. The staff were attentive and especially friendly, particularly Eliana. This was a great choice for a few days away, and we’re grateful for the stay. The projects they have planned should make Cenoura-Brava a truly special place. It sits on a restored historic estate, renovated with care for the original architecture while adding contemporary comfort and design. The accommodation feels private, with open views over the Alentejo countryside, greenery reserved for guests and an outdoor pool. Details include premium amenities and a complimentary minibar. Services include a personalized breakfast, daily cleaning, a 24-hour Honesty Bar and access to the facilities at Convento do Espinheiro.

Everything seemed wonderful at first. The staff were very friendly, the location was lovely, the services were good, and breakfast was varied and high quality. Being able to use most of the facilities at C. Do Espinheiro was another real plus. We were there to check out the location, C. Espinheiro, as a possible wedding venue, since we'd prefer somewhere more private. Then, after we left, the staff called us three times asking about the pool towels. They hadn't been in our room, and we didn't even know what they looked like. On the third call, someone said, “the towels are of high value,” which felt like a pointed accusation. They kept investigating even after we answered the first time. That was upsetting, and I can't give a positive overall rating because of it.

The staff are really friendly, especially Iliana. This is an idyllic, peaceful place away from the usual busy tourist spots. There are four spacious rooms and a villa, all with direct pool access. You can also use the facilities at the main hotel, about 500 meters away.
