The back terrace has a gorgeous view across the countryside and looks out over the pool. We also really enjoyed the ripe fruit selection with the full continental breakfast. The staff were kind and helpful, and since we drove to the area, we were glad we paid for parking at the hotel. We loved staying in this lovingly restored convent. Our superior room was spacious and had a comfortable bed, while the sitting room’s painted ceiling was stunning. The art and tapestries felt sumptuous. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We had our small wedding at Pousada Convento Évora, including the food and accommodation, and I recently had the pleasure of staying there with my family. It’s right in the centre of beautiful Évora. The staff were attentive and exceptionally accommodating. You can tell they take real pride in the hotel and their work. We enjoyed dinner, and the breakfast buffet was decent. The restaurant is in a unique setting because this is a historical building, and that adds to the experience. I’ve read negative reviews about the rooms, but it is a historical building. If you want a custom-built hotel, go stay in Holiday Inn.

The manager and her team made this stay feel special. They were welcoming, attentive, and so hospitable. The hotel itself is beautiful too, full of history, charm, and character. A memorable visit ❤️

The staff were phenomenal, always pleasant, polite, and ready to help. The hotel is also in a great spot, within walking distance of the main sights. Parking around there is limited, so we paid extra for private parking, which worked out very conveniently.
