Breakfast had the food we liked, and the coffee was just what we needed to get the day going. Our Venus suite was comfortable, especially the bed and separate sitting area, and the AC kept up well with temperatures in the mid-to-high 90F. We spent 3 lovely nights there in late May 2026. The hotel was perfectly placed for everything we wanted to see in Evora, and despite being right on the street, the room was quiet and well insulated. We skipped the rooftop terrace because of the heat. We’d happily stay again on another trip to Evora. Try O Trovador, O Pateo and the gelato in the square!

There are lots of good restaurants nearby, and plenty of classified buildings to see. The location also makes it easy to reach the ring road for the main routes to villages and small towns around Alentejo. Our room suited the two of us well, breakfast had a great range of choices, and the staff were nice.

I used the little rooftop terrace two or three times a day to read and work, and the views from up there are spectacular. This small hotel is in a beautifully restored old building, with a spotless room and a lovely shower. The reading room has AC and an honesty bar, and breakfast was excellent. It’s easy to walk to everything in town and convenient for the University. I’d happily stay again.

The location is great, but the street and the staff made it so noisy that I couldn’t sleep at all during the 3 nights I was there.

The staff were excellent. They suggested a traditional local restaurant and booked it for me, and even found boiling water for my cough medicine. The room was a good size, the bed was comfortable, and they brought fresh water and coffee pods each day. The hotel is very close to toman remple and the main cathedral. Breakfast was good, though the hot options were the same every day.
