The accommodation itself was lovely: spotless, spacious rooms, a very comfortable bed, a modern bathroom, and pastries left on the door in the morning. The aesthetic details were all done really well. But getting inside was a major problem. We'd given our arrival time and had it confirmed, then found ourselves outside a locked door in the dark. The property isn't staffed, and entry codes are supposed to be sent before arrival. They never came, so we expected someone to meet us. The phone number on Booking.com didn't answer either. We're experienced travellers, so we went to a pizza place around the corner and asked the staff to help us find the right number. That kind of communication failure isn't acceptable. If we'd been less savvy, perhaps an older couple arriving in Faro for the first time, we could have been scared and desperate. Such a shame, because the property is amazing, if you can get in.

The house was very clean, with a great kitchen, and the suites were lovely. They replied to our WhatsApp questions within minutes and gave us all the information we needed. Really recommend it. Our room did feel humid and a bit damp on rainy days, which seems expected in coastal places like this. There was a little mould under the windows, but the stay was still excellent.

A nice, clean room and a really pleasant host. It's about a kilometre from both the station and Municipal market, so there's a bit of a walk. Nothing else to complain about.

We only booked one night in December and wished we'd stayed longer. The rooms were spacious and really comfortable, and Edgar made communication easy. Check-in was smooth, too. It's right in the nice part of Faro, with lots around that we didn't have time to see.

The room was lovely and very clean, and the evening self check-in was simple and seamless. In the morning, the complimentary pastel de natas were a nice little treat. I'd definitely recommend staying here.
