Happy House

The exterior doesn't give you much of a hint, but inside it's a gem, with huge rooms and a great location. Staff are friendly and helpful, and there's a shared kitchen and lounge. I'd definitely recommend it for a stay in Faro.

We were delighted with Happy House. The reception and housekeeping staff were lovely, and our clean, comfortable rooms were serviced every day. The upstairs area was a great place to relax, and the location is very central. Perfect.

Friendly, helpful staff who stayed unobtrusive made for a very pleasant stay at the spotlessly clean and comfortable Happy House hotel. It's a short walk from Faro centre and a convenient base for exploring, with the bus and train stations close by too. The price was very reasonable.

The rooms were cozy, nicely decorated and very clean, and the bathroom in ours was exceptional. It's a small, privately owned place with a little terrace and lovely staff. Nesua (?) was especially sweet, greeting us and offering help whenever we met, even once out on the street. At first I wondered if we'd made a mistake booking it, but as soon as we went inside I knew it would be great. It's a lovely local-feeling place, just a minute's walk from the pedestrian area beside the old town.
