Winniehill

A lovely B&B in a beautiful spot away from the tourist bustle. The pool was great and breakfast was amazing. Fiona’s muffins were excellent, especially the white chocolate one, and I loved the dogs.

Robin and Fiona are lovely hosts. They struck a nice balance between giving us privacy and spending time with us. The B&B is beautifully and artistically presented, with a well-stocked pool room that has a bar, tea, and coffee facilities. Sun loungers around the pool make it a relaxing place to spend time. It’s an easy drive from Faro airport and made a great stop for our trip around the Algarve.

The best part of our two nights at Winniehill was how thoughtful Robin and Fiona were. At the end of our Portugal road trip, we wanted to return but it was fully booked. They still helped us find somewhere else. We’d also left our camera at a cafe in Sao Bras on the last day, and when we contacted them from the airport before our flight, they sorted everything out so we could get it back. It arrived in Germany a week later. The hosts are lovely, friendly, and helpful, and the view, spotless pool, and cozy sun loungers were great. Breakfast was the best ever, and the attention to detail makes Winniehill special. We’ll definitely return. If you want more than a place to sleep, go there!
