The hotel is reasonably priced and fine for its rating, with no major flaws. But I left my wedding ring in the room and only realized at the airport. I called Alecrim's reception to ask if they could mail it back at my expense. The person I spoke with, presumably a receptionist, was kind and said they’d arrange it. After a few emails, I was told it had been sent, so I waited. A month later it still hadn't arrived. I emailed to ask what happened and still haven't received a reply. The delivery service might have caused a problem, but without any response from the hotel, I can't tell if the problem was with them.

We were a group of 32 at the Alecrim hotel in October 2018, and the location was handy, close to the Sanctuary and easy to find. We had to unload our bus and hurry to mass before checking into our rooms. The staff let us leave our bags there for a few hours without any trouble. Everyone was friendly and ready to help, and there was plenty of good food for the whole group. Thanks for all your help.

The staff seemed very nice, and breakfast was available. The hotel was clean, nicely decorated, and had the amenities I needed. It's very well located near the Santuario de Fatima. A great stay.

There were lots of ants in the bathroom and sleeping area on the first night. I told the staff the next morning, and they said housekeeping would take care of them. There were fewer on the second night, but when I checked out, three were crawling on me. I put my luggage in the closet hoping they wouldn't get into it, but the closet didn't work.

I felt misled by the photos, which showed rooms with balconies. The room we were given didn't have one, and when I complained, the man at check-in asked whether I'd requested a balcony. How was I supposed to know some rooms had none? When I left, I saw that the rooms at the front have balconies and the ones at the back don't. Please pay attention to this detail, future guests. I'm writing because the man who checked me in today, November 12, 2025, didn't listen to me.
