At least the price was fair, and the parking lot did its job perfectly. You could drive in, park, and leave. That seemed to be where the hotel had put all its effort. Checking in felt like being welcomed by a zombie from customer-service purgatory. After what seemed like forever, we got the keys and opened the door to damp air like a locker room from 1985. Breakfast was a food archaeology project: stale pastries, rubbery eggs, and coffee that suspiciously tasted like hotel pool water. The sliced kiwi looked ancient, maybe cut back in the Pleistocene. I’m still not sure if we stayed at a hotel or wandered onto a sitcom set about the world’s worst lodging. If suffering is your idea of a soul cleanse, book here. Otherwise, visit the shrine, say a prayer, and find a nice convent. It felt like a run-down bunker, but at least the parking spot was great.

We got a room for four, and the price was reasonable compared with other hotels of the same star rating, above it or below it. The staff were very nice, and the room was good, with a little terrace where we could see the mountains. We didn’t include breakfast because we generally prefer eating out. If you want a decent place to rest with an affordable price, good staff, and a good room, this is it.

The room was very clean and quiet, with a comfortable queen bed and great heating controls. There was a good selection of movie channels, and the front desk service was friendly. It had a shower, no bathtub.

We arranged more than 20 rooms here for out-of-town guests coming to our wedding, and the hotel was wonderful to work with. The staff were kind and professional, and the hotel was clean and beautiful. Our guests were very happy with their stay. They also helped us set up a brunch, and the food was out of this world. Many thanks to Mr. Silva and his staff. I’d highly recommend this hotel, especially for booking a large group of rooms.
