The location is great, but the meal felt more like canteen food at a good restaurant's prices. The meat seemed to me like it had been frozen several times. The dessert wasn't appealing either. I think you'd be better off buying the same crème brûlée at a supermarket.

The meat was a complete disaster. The steak was bland, chewy, and full of visible sinew. A decent butcher and proper seasoning would have made a big difference. We came expecting the “salt boards,” but the cut and a little salt from the board didn't give it much flavour. If you love steak, I'd order something else. Service was great. The waiter and manager were both very nice, and the sides and sangria were tasty. The venue was cool, and the open kitchen was fun to see, though the heat meant we ate indoors. I really don't understand all the glowing reviews.

All three of us chose different dishes, flank steak, tuna, and pork cheeks, and every one was delicious. Even the house wine was top-notch, though that's Portugal for you. We came across the restaurant one evening and enjoyed the whole experience. Our server was attentive without hovering and gave us helpful suggestions. The room felt inviting and was quiet, with only our party there. I'd gladly return when I'm in Setúbal and recommend it.
