The room was very large and clean, and the house is close to both the city center and public transport. The owner welcomed us in person, told us about the house’s history, and left a small gift. They were available whenever we had a question or needed advice or help. We stayed for four nights and had a very positive experience. We’d definitely choose this place again when we’re back in the area.

Room no5 was cozy, quiet, very clean, and had a comfortable bed. There’s no TV or air conditioning, but I didn’t need either. The WiFi was fast, and even in hot weather the fan cooled the room quickly. The modern bathroom is across the hall rather than inside the room. It was very clean and, since you get its key, it’s just for your use. Having it in the room would be better, but this wasn’t a big problem. Soap is provided, so bring your own shampoo. There’s no hair dryer. Miguel communicated well and greeted me at the entrance. He explained the history of the very old building, which has been newly decorated inside. The rooms are on the second floor. He also gave me moscatel wine and cookies, thanks for that. The location is great: three minutes on foot to Setubal port, where you can take a catamaran to Troia, five minutes to the main square, and one minute to the famous choco frito restaurant. Room no: 4 has a large refrigerator and other kitchen equipment guests can use.

I felt right at home in the beautifully decorated room. This was my second time staying in the large room with a terrace, and I enjoyed it just as much. Highly recommend.

The staff were very helpful, and everything was clean and comfortable, including the rooms, toilets, and kitchen. It was all prepared just right. Great location near the ferry, Old Town, and restaurants.
