The smell was unforgettable, and cold, damp air kept coming through the building. There was black mold everywhere: the ceiling was thoroughly speckled with it. The shower flooded too. I've never seen so much of it in my life, and I'll never stay here again.

It was fine in a general sense, but it's the cheapest hostel in Fatima, so I guess you get what you pay for. I wouldn't stay again. A couple there had a tiny dog that barked at me whenever I went to the kitchen, and they seemed to enjoy it. Not a good place, even for the low price. I wouldn't recommend it.

The beds were really comfortable, and the common areas were good, with big TVs and a decent little kitchen. Other guests were quiet and respectful while we were there. The shower and toilet had a couple of hostel-style quirks and could be unpredictable, but for the money this place is fantastic value. Remote support on WhatsApp was prompt and effective. I'm not sure what kind of five-star resort people were expecting, but if we're back in Fatima, this will be our default choice.

We needed a place within walking distance for an overnight stay during the Fatima procession, and this B&B worked well for that. It was simple and spartan, with what we needed to wash up and sleep well. Rates were higher than usual, as expected at that time of year. B&B owners clearly take the chance to cash in during special occasions.

I got bitten all over my body because there were bed bugs in my bed. I don't recommend it.
