The views were hard to beat, and the location was just right, close to everything while still quiet and peaceful. My dad and I felt at home here. The staff were kind and accommodating, and the breakfast each morning was so good. They even brought us breakfast the day before we left because we had an early start. The place was just as pictured, and then some. I’d book it without hesitation if it’s available.

We stayed in one of the houses and had a perfect visit. It was spotless, beautifully decorated, and the owner was kind and always available. Breakfast was magnificent. The property is full of plants and flowers, with little animals wandering around and a stunning ocean view. There’s a windmill people can stay in, along with about five houses on the grounds. We’d love to return someday.

We could watch the sunset from our living room balcony, and both a grocery market and dramatic ocean cliffs were only a couple of minutes away. Fresh local breakfast arrived every day, and there was plenty of it. Housekeeping was top notch, and reaching the main office was easy whenever we needed to. Everything was outstanding. I wish I could give them 10 stars.

Ponta Delgada is only a 20-minute drive away, and groceries are even closer. We stayed in “The Windmill,” which was such a fun place. From the bed, we had a wonderful 360-degree view over the ocean and countryside. One small thing to keep in mind: the spiral stairs could be hard for anyone with limited mobility, and the bathroom is on another floor from the bedroom. We thought that was part of its charm.

We had such a perfect stay that I still think about sleeping in the windmill every day. The maid service came to clean our space daily, which was a huge plus for us. This beautiful place is hard to put into words. Book it, you won’t regret it.
