The people at Hotel de Charme Quinta do Pinheiro are what we’ll remember most. Mrs Carla, Claudia, Sofia, and everyone on the team were so kind and attentive that we’ll never forget how much care they put into our day. Teresa worked with us beforehand on the table decorations, and they turned out beautifully. We’re based in the UK, and having our wedding here a year ago was wonderful. With guests flying in, being about 30 minutes from Porto worked well. The wedding packages covered food and drinks, decorations, a DJ, and even the cake, all planned to our preferences. That made arranging things from abroad much easier, especially since we don’t speak Portuguese. The venue has several ceremony and reception spots to suit the guest count and weather, and they also hosted a meal for our guests the evening before. The food was a real highlight. We had delicious canapes and starters after the ceremony, including freshly carved meat and great seafood. Dinner later was some of the best food we’ve ever had, and the staff made sure everyone had plenty. Our guests had lots of compliments about it. The team also worked smoothly with the band we chose, and the evening fireworks were a highlight, especially as that’s unusual at a UK wedding. We hope to come back many times.

We had a really comfortable stay, with spacious, cozy rooms and a breakfast buffet that had plenty of choice, including Prosecco. The property is stylish, the staff are friendly, and the outdoor pool is a relaxing spot. It’s also a beautiful place for a wedding. Highly recommended!

We got married here a couple of days ago and had such an amazing, stress-free time. The place has that rustic, green feel we wanted. From the venue and food to the staff’s kindness and attention to detail, everything was great from beginning to end. Thanks for a wonderful day and stay.

My son’s wedding here in October 2024 was beautiful. There were 84 guests, and they all said what a wonderful place it was and that it was the best wedding they’d ever attended. Everything was so well organized, with lovely attention to detail from start to finish. Thank you to everyone who helped make the day special in every way. You’re all amazing, and this place will always mean a lot to me. I hope to see you all again soon, and wish you good health, peace, and happiness for 2025! The setting is so beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by an incredible natural landscape, and the place has a lot of character. I was pleasantly surprised to find somewhere this calm and natural in this part of Portugal. The staff were friendly, the housewine was great, and the dog and I enjoyed exploring the large grounds. Porto and other interesting places in northern Portugal are close by, too. We had a very pleasant stay.
