Getting into town was easy on foot, and there’s also a bus nearby. The little apartments have a great view of Funchal, and though simple, they have everything you need for a good price.

It’s a clean, tidy, quiet place, and the Marina and city centre are about a 10-minute bus ride away. The owner could improve how guests are met on arrival, which would make it a four-star stay.

My sister and I spent four days here and loved it. We ate on the beautiful terrace with a sea view, and the owner is really nice too. It felt like a little corner of heaven.
