We stopped here on our way back down to Funchal after the toboggan ride. What a gem, with delicious food at really good prices, a laid-back, friendly feel and stunning views.

The room was pleasant and had a classic style, though the beds weren’t very comfortable. The staff were friendly and service was good. Breakfast was very good too, with plenty of sweet and savory choices. It’s a little outside the city center, but still easy to get to.

A lovely oasis with a great view. The service was exceptional, and the drinks were very reasonably priced.
