Pestana Vila Lido Madeira

I especially want to mention Leticia’s full body Rebalance massage. It was one of the best I’ve had recently. She’s also a Reiki practitioner and has wonderful energy. I hope I get to experience her magic touch again. Highly recommended. ✨️💫🌟💚 Our room was airy, spacious, light and cosy, with a west-facing balcony that was perfect for sunsets. Each day we got small bottles of mineral water and sparkling passion fruit soft drink. There was also a lovely handwritten “Welcome” card and gifts waiting for us on arrival. The hotel is right on the ocean front, with fantastic uninterrupted views. We stayed in the round hotel building on the 6th floor. It was rather windy when we arrived, and we could hear and feel the howling wind. The breakfast buffet had plenty to choose from: different kinds of eggs, including omelettes made to order, meats, cheese, salad, fruit, bakery goods, good coffee, and pastries. It was a wonderful stay and we’d definitely return. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟💚

Loved the ocean view, the balcony, the comfy mattress and the pillow menu. The room was clean, stylish, and a real pleasure to be in. Breakfast was generous, the pool was nice, and the location was perfect. Staff were super helpful and polite. 10/10!

The one thing that could have been better was the receptionist assigned to breakfast. She was very hard to hear, spoke only English, and didn’t seem very approachable or active, especially compared with the rest of the staff, who were helpful and easy to approach. That’s why I gave service four stars. We were a couple staying for a week in the main building, in an ocean-view room, and we both loved it. There were amazing views from the room, restaurant and pool. Breakfast was great, with a good range of food and drinks that changed a little each day. The waiters were busy and very helpful, keeping things running smoothly. We’ll definitely return another year.

The restaurant on site was pretty good and reasonably priced, and there’s direct access to the ocean from the hotel, which is a rare bonus in Madeira. Staff were extremely helpful. Breakfast was good quality and came with a nice view, though there wasn’t much variety. We stayed in a Premium Double Sea View room on the seventh floor. We’d originally booked a standard Double Sea View on the first floor, then chose to upgrade once there for the better view, more privacy and bigger windows.
