We felt at home in this apartment. It was spotless and well kept, with a cozy interior, very comfortable beds and everything we needed. Just a small note, there weren’t any spices. The terrace and view were a real highlight, such a peaceful place to unwind. The area felt safe, and the location was convenient, with two grocery stores nearby and a charming local bakery we already miss. There were plenty of parking spaces too, which was a big plus. The host was incredibly kind and friendly. We had a very positive stay and can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Funchal.

We’d happily come back. The host was really helpful, and the place had a large room, bathroom, kitchen, terrace and garden. Bus stops were only a two-minute walk away. Recommended.

The host was nice and the location worked well, but I wouldn’t choose this place for a winter trip. It felt cold and damp, and the rooms were dark with no sunlight. The old-fashioned rooms could use renovation, and I don’t think it’s suitable for families travelling with small children.
