We stayed in room 45 and had a lovely river view, including a beautiful sunset. The hotel is around 5 kilometers from the center of Porto and offered really good value for money. Everyone on staff was consistently kind, attentive, and helpful.

The Gondomar council has made the place welcoming and well organized in a short time, despite the building having been closed for so long. It's currently being used to provide temporary accommodation and support for refugees. Congratulations.

For me, the best dish I've had there was the lamprey rice, though they have several dishes and everyone's tastes are different, of course. In my personal opinion, Estalagem Santiago is one of the best places in Gondomar, and maybe in the surrounding area too, if I'm not mistaken. A big hug to everyone who works there.

I spent the day there, so I can't say much more, but the rooms were good. The hotel was pleasant and very quiet, the staff were friendly, and the food was nice.
