The rooms are spacious, and the service is adequate. Beds are singles only, so a double room means two single beds. Fridges are available if you ask, but it’s first come, first served. Most rooms are alright, though some smell strongly of mould. Laundry is offered, but once my clothes came back with bleach stains. Breakfast is usually cold, with eggs or bacon now and then. The price is good, and there are plenty of cafes and parks nearby. I’ll stay here again.

The building’s exterior needs some maintenance, but inside it’s surprisingly well kept and up to standard. It’s on a square with lots of parking. We arrived quite late at night and were met by a very friendly receptionist. The rooms are large, clean, comfortable and cosy. Breakfast is enough, though it could have more variety. I’ll come back whenever I’m in the area.

I was very happy with the services, including breakfast, when I stayed here in February 2015 during winter. The hotel is on a lovely square in the center of this marvelous city. Grandola has many great restaurants with wonderful food, and the people are pleasant and friendly. I shall return!

It has the standard amenities you’d expect from a 3-star hotel, but it’s somewhat expensive for Portugal. The internet is so bad that you can’t browse ordinary websites or even check Gmail.
