The house was modern, tidy, and clean, with a cozy atmosphere and even a fireplace. Our hosts were very accommodating, offering advice about the area and making sure we had what we needed. We spent a long weekend at Monte das Casolas with a couple of friends, and it was a wonderful way to get away from the city and enjoy nature. The countryside around the accommodation is lovely for walks and runs, and beaches and nearby towns like Comporta and Grandola are a short drive away. It was a great mix of relaxing at the house and exploring, and I’ll be back.

Sophie was an incredible host, quick to respond, and so helpful. Her breakfast was delicious, too. Monte das Casolas feels like a movie setting, and the design is amazing. I can’t recommend a stay here enough. I’m definitely planning to return. Enjoy!

Our villa had wonderful views of the scenery, plus a private outdoor lounge deck, king-sized beds, indoor and outdoor showers, and incredible stargazing. It was fully equipped and pet friendly. Monte das Casolas is a quiet, beautiful retreat in the Serra de Grandola region, set in one of Portugal’s most amazing landscapes. The comfortable villas are designed sustainably to fit into their natural surroundings.

The land feels vast, and every room is immersed in nature. We were there as a group, but there was loads of space. The pool, the sunrises, and wonderful, wonderful Sophie all made it feel like pure magic. The food was unbelievable, with nearly everything coming from the land and made with so much love. I can't wait to return to Monte Das Casolas.

The rooms were beautiful, with lovely design and amazing, very comfortable beds. I just spent a weekend here, and it was the most calming, wholesome experience I’ve had in a long time. The hosts were incredibly kind and the food was excellent. They made me feel completely at home while still giving me the space to reconnect in the middle of nature. I couldn’t have asked for better. I’d highly recommend it and will definitely come back!
