For a peaceful break near Serra da Estrela, Quinta da Lage has a beautiful rustic setting. There are three houses, a swimming pool, a barbecue area, a stone oven, a professionally equipped kitchen, a fireplace, and plenty of bathrooms. Outside, there’s lots of space, trees, cows, a donkey, chickens, and lovely views. There’s even a pretty little chapel on the farm. São looks after the place and will show you the strength of Portuguese women. This isn’t a hotel. It’s a rustic farm set up for small events or large families and groups, with the facilities they need. If you want somewhere quiet and beautiful to rest and enjoy nature, look no further.
