The place is beautiful, but the staff weren’t very friendly. The rooms were uncomfortable and not well maintained.

The pool fits nicely into the setting, and the grounds are lovely, with plenty of greenery and rocky Beira Alta hills visible in the distance. I came here for a wedding party. The meal was good, and they served appetizers out in the gardens. The dining area is a large tent, but it still felt calm and pleasant, right beside the Mondego River in its valley. I’d recommend it.
