The owner is a sweetheart who clearly loves looking after her hotel and welcoming guests. The charming rooms are spacious and clean, and breakfast is very good. We'll be back without hesitation.

The breakfast has a great selection of homemade and local items, and the people running the place are incredibly friendly and welcoming. It's a great spot to stay in Guarda, right beside the cathedral and close to lots of attractions and shops. I'll stay again.

We had a lovely breakfast at this historic hotel, right beside the cathedral. We don't speak Portuguese, but the owner was happy to check us in and explain how things worked using some Spanish and gestures.

The cathedral and main square are just a few meters away. An elderly woman who spoke Portuguese greeted us very warmly. The rooms were stylish and very clean, and breakfast was excellent.

The staff were charming, and the hotel was clean and very well located. It does need an upgrade. They kindly arranged a bowl of raw whole fruit for my breakfast, even though the usual spread is bread and jams, cheese, and cured meat.
