The private room with its own bathroom was large, clean, and had little balconies facing the front of the property. Breakfast was decent, and the staff were friendly. They kept our bags for a few hours after checkout, then returned a power converter we'd accidentally left behind when we came back for them. It's a very good hostel, within an easy walk of the old town, Pingo Doce supermarket, and the train station, which is about ten minutes away on foot. There's a 24-hour kitchen on the second floor for preparing food, plus a lounge and outdoor patio on the ground floor. Mostly students were staying there during my visit, but there weren't many and it was fairly quiet.

The staff, especially at reception, are super friendly and kind, and they make you feel at home. The location and service are excellent, and breakfast is good too. I love this place and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Ten stars for the reception staff!

The rooms were clean during my five-day stay, and the reception and kitchen staff were nice. I loved the breakfast, and the location was exceptional. I'll definitely come back.
