The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and even had TVs with Netflix connectivity. The sunset over the infinity pool was gorgeous. It’s off the beaten trail, with not many tourists around. Breakfast was standard and nothing fancy, though I appreciated having almond milk for the muesli. Fresh fruit would have been nice. For the price, this hotel was amazing, and I was very pleased with it.

I felt uncomfortable the whole time and didn’t enjoy the massage. The booking experience today was a complete disaster. Please don’t book a massage with the masseuse called Frank Costa.

The breakfast had lots of choice and was included in the price, and the pool was beautiful. This is a brand new, modern hotel in the countryside, away from the city, with stylish rooms. The downside was hearing people in the next room talking at a normal volume because the walls aren’t insulated.

The room was spotlessly clean and felt like a little apartment. The staff were friendly, parking was good, and it was good value for the price. The pool looked lovely, though it felt a bit cold when we were there.

There were lots of local Portuguese people having Sunday lunch, and the bill for three came to a good 41 euros. We enjoyed the casa’s bacalao, a portion for two that was enough for three, and the house’s bola de bolacha coffee torte was to die for. The regional vinho Verde branco was cheap and refreshing, too. Friendly staff and excellent service. A great find on Google Maps.
